Banana Split

Serves 1
Ingredients:
1 ripe bananas
2 tsp of sugar
1/2 cup of rum reduced
2 scoops of Vanilla Ice cream
Tools:
Blowtorch
white plate
9″ Chef’s knife
Cutting board
Directions:
Cut the ends off the banana
Cut the banana in half and take off the skin
Place both sides of the banana on the plate and sprinkle sugar on both exposed
sides
Sprinkle sugar on the bananas and burn it with the blowtorch (Be careful the
flame is very hot)
Adding more sugar will give the sugar a cranking effect just like with cream
brule
Place 2 scoops of vanilla ice cream in the middle
Add Mint for Garnish
