Banana Split

Calories 441 Serves 1


1 ripe banana
2 tsp of sugar
1/2 cup of rum reduced
2 scoops of Vanilla Ice cream

Hot sauté pan or blowtorch
9″ Chef’s knife
cutting board


Cut the ends off the banana
Cut the banana in half lengthwise
Cover the exposed sides with sugar
Carefully remove the skin
Using your sauté pan or blowtorch, caramelize the sugar until it turns a caramel brown
Place 2 scoops of vanilla ice cream in the middle of the two banana halves
Add Mint for Garnish

Serve and Enjoy
